Chef Javier García
Chef Javier Garcia, originally from Ibiza, Spain, graduated from the top culinary school in Catalonia in 1998, Escola d´ Hoteleria de Cambrils, located in Tarragona. He immigrated to Costa Rica after working as head and executive chef at some of the top restaurants in the world including Fortín de la Reina (Tarragona, Spain); Pacha Ibiza (Ibiza, Spain); About Thyme (London), and the Hilton La Sabana (San Jose, Costa Rica).
He is currently leading our kitchen teams at El Avion, El Wagon, La Cantina BBQ and Anaconda. He has dedicated his efforts with each of our restaurants’ teams to develop new signature menus, that include seasonal dishes and mouth-watering, yet affordable daily specials for each dining establishment, utilizing the freshest local ingredients.
Chef Javier can work closely with you to design a memorable menu for your wedding reception, rehearsal dinner or any special event at any of our restaurants or at the Costa Verde Wedding Pavilion.
